Since our founding in 2005, Nha Nam has purchased the rights to many works from the UK, France, USA, Germany, Canada, China, and Japan and accomplished certain achievements. However, at the time, although we were keen to publish Korean books, we had quite a few difficulties finding books and contacting Korean copyright owners. Moreover, we did not have much information about Korean literature, nor did we have editors who could read and translate Korean. Korean Children’s Books Going Global   2020.11.02   Centering around Vietnam and Indonesia, Korea’s various children’s books are steadily being translated and released in the Southeast Asian publishing market. From picture books to children’s books, the genres are diverse. Let’s first take a look at picture books. Hooray! Watermelon!, One Morning, and Dragonfly Letters published by Gloyeon Ltd. were translated and published by publisher Kim Dong, a representative children's book publisher in Vietnam. Also, the picture book Going Home published by Dalgrimm (Yellowpig) was released by Nha Nam in Vietnam, and the picture book Along the Road to Grandma’s House by Grass and Wind Publishing is set to be translated and published.
